Hollywood loves nothing more than to shove politics in America’s face. Every awards show turns into a left-wing therapy session, packed with virtue signaling and tired lectures about how “bad” our country supposedly is. But there’s a refreshing change on the horizon, and his name is Glen Powell. This rising star, the guy everyone’s talking about from the new “Twisters” and “Anyone But You,” has found the courage to say nothing.
That’s right — Powell keeps his politics to himself. He doesn’t jump on the bandwagon chanting the latest liberal nonsense or join Hollywood’s anti-American circus. This simple move sends the left into a complete meltdown. The woke mob demands everyone bow to their agenda, and when someone doesn’t, the pitchforks come out. Just ask Sydney Sweeney: the left can’t stop whining about her either, all because she refuses to be their puppet and, horror of horrors, succeeds in business without parroting their talking points.
Powell’s refusal to play their game is what real freedom looks like. Americans are sick and tired of Hollywood actors pretending that reading a few lines on a script makes them experts on policy, social issues, or the Constitution. Everyday folks want escapism, excitement, and real talent—not more lectures from pampered millionaires repeating whatever globalist nonsense their agents tell them to.
It’s hilarious how the same leftists who screech about “tolerance” can’t handle someone simply choosing to be apolitical. Their heads explode unless every celeb turns up in pink hair and nose rings, crying about how “oppressed” they are in the greatest nation on earth. They slam anyone with common sense as a “threat” just because they don’t bend the knee to woke bullies.
Glen Powell’s silence is louder than every Hollywood activist’s rant. He’s showing the country—and especially the next generation—that it’s still okay to have your own opinions, or heck, to keep them private. Maybe if more actors followed his lead, regular people would actually start to trust Hollywood again. Or is that just too much for the left to handle?
