Michigan Senate Candidate Sides With Criminals Over American Safety

Once again, the radical left is showing its true colors. At a Michigan U.S. Senate debate in Grand Rapids, Abdulrahman El-Sayed did what liberals do best—demonize the very people who keep our country safe. He accused U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement of “terrorizing” our streets. That’s not tough talk. That’s dangerous, open-borders propaganda.

Let’s be clear: ICE agents put their lives on the line every single day. They arrest drug smugglers, track violent criminals, and protect everyday Americans from the chaos that unchecked illegal immigration brings. When someone like El-Sayed smears them, he’s really attacking the idea of law and order itself. Apparently, he believes it’s “terrorizing” to make sure we know who’s coming into our country—that it’s somehow evil for agents to enforce the laws our own Congress passed.

Why does the left always side with criminals over American citizens? Why do they shed more tears for illegal aliens than the victims of crime on our streets? Maybe it’s because they love importing new voters more than they love protecting hard-working Michiganders. Or maybe, deep down, they want the border crisis to get even worse. The globalist playbook doesn’t want you safe—they want you silent.

It seems progressives like El-Sayed care more about virtue signaling than standing up for real Americans. Calling ICE agents “terrorists” is an insult to every person who believes in this country and its founding principles. The law is not the problem. The real problem is a far-left agenda that defends lawbreakers and bashes the heroes sworn to defend our borders.

The choice here couldn’t be clearer—stand with the men and women who defend America, or side with politicians who think patriotism is a crime. If protecting our streets is “terrorizing,” what exactly would El-Sayed call open borders, fentanyl surges, or cartel violence? Maybe someone should ask him whose side he’s really on.
