Michigan voters, wake up. On the debate stage last night, Democrat Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed couldn’t bring himself to deny one of the most basic, crucial accusations facing any would-be Senator: Accepting money from terrorists. Instead, he danced around the question, dodging it with the slickness we’ve come to expect from leftist politicians desperate to protect their radical agenda.
It gets worse. Rumors have swirled for months about El-Sayed’s connection to leftwing billionaire bankrollers like George Soros—Mr. Open Borders himself. Yet again, El-Sayed offered no clear denial. If he had nothing to hide, why couldn’t he just tell Michigan voters the truth? What’s he so afraid of? Maybe the answer is obvious. When your campaign is built on appeasing radicals at home and abroad, transparency is the last thing you want.
Liberals love to claim they’re the party of “inclusion” and “democracy.” But when an anti-American extremist’s ties to outside money and possible terrorist groups are exposed, suddenly the rules change. The mainstream media runs interference, big tech censors the questions, and the Democrat machine turns a blind eye. If a Republican candidate even sneezed near anything this shady, we’d never hear the end of it.
It’s time to call out the hypocrisy. El-Sayed represents the globalist left’s dream—a candidate who would happily sell out Michigan values for the applause of coastal elites and radical activists. He won’t stand up for law and order. He won’t put American safety first. This is the kind of dangerous incompetence that Michigan—and America—simply can’t afford.
Any candidate who won’t reject terrorist money and leftwing billionaire influence has no business in the U.S. Senate. So why is the Democrat Party so eager to rally behind him? Is this what passes for leadership on the left these days? Or just more proof that liberal globalists care more about control than country?
