When New York City’s Mayor Zohran Mamdani throws a tantrum over ICE doing its job, you know the left’s priorities are upside down. Federal agents protect our country day in and day out, and yet liberals can’t stop coddling violent criminals—especially if those criminals happen to be in the country illegally. This time, ICE was forced to confront a dangerous gang member behind the wheel of an SUV, and the man reportedly tried to use his vehicle as a battering ram—with a child inside, no less. Once again, law enforcement is vilified while the real threat is excused.
The city’s so-called leaders never miss a chance to point fingers at brave Americans tasked with keeping our communities safe. Instead of applauding ICE for stopping a criminal who clearly had no regard for innocent life, Mayor Mamdani is throwing demands at the president and demanding ICE stay out of New York. Forget about protecting New Yorkers—it’s all about pushing a radical, open-borders agenda.
It’s never about the safety of American citizens with these progressive activists. Every time a criminal gets caught, they cry foul. Every time an illegal alien faces consequences for breaking our laws, they scream about “rights” while ignoring the families who have to live with the consequences when things go wrong. The left’s twisted sympathy lies with lawbreakers, not law-abiding citizens.
This episode should be a wake-up call. When a mayor has more sympathy for a gangbanger who uses a child as a human shield than for hard-working ICE agents, something is rotten in city hall. The real rot isn’t in our law enforcement agencies—it’s in the hearts of politicians who care more about keeping borders open than keeping Americans alive.
Why do Democrats keep siding with international criminals over their own people? Maybe because chaos and lawlessness are easier to control than freedom and security. If Mamdani and his cronies had their way, there’d be no ICE, no borders, and no peace. Is that really the America anyone wants?
