America doesn’t answer to the global elite, and President Trump just proved it again. While the left cheers for unelected, foreign bureaucrats, this administration stands strong for American values and sovereignty. The International Criminal Court—a sham body based in Europe—is getting a harsh lesson in American resolve, right after one of its former judges snags a Nobel Peace Prize. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced bold new sanctions against the ICC. Finally, someone has the backbone to stand up to these globalist bullies.
Let’s not kid ourselves. The ICC has no right to meddle in America’s business. They want to drag American soldiers and officials before their kangaroo court. They don’t care about justice—they care about power. The court’s track record is a joke. It spends more time grandstanding than fighting real crime. Yet liberals act like these European bureaucrats are heroes. Why? Because the global elite despise any country that refuses to bow, especially the USA.
It’s no accident that just days after an ICC judge is showered with praise and awarded a Nobel, the Trump team slams the court with heavy sanctions. Good. America leads by example, not by following the orders of faceless foreign panels. The world may wring its hands and scream, but ordinary Americans know better. Our government should never let outsiders dictate how we handle our own.
Where are the Democrats on this? Nowhere useful, that’s for sure. They’ll whine about “international legitimacy” like that matters more than our own Constitution. The truth is, the left would happily watch American troops be dragged off by international judges if it made them feel “woke” enough. It’s all part of their obsession with tearing down everything that makes this country strong.
This administration sees right through the globalist charade. No international court gets to override American sovereignty. Not now, not ever. If liberal elites prefer bowing to Brussels instead of backing the red, white, and blue, maybe they should pack their bags and go.
