With smart leadership and an iron will, they slashed contracts and trimmed the workforce that had gotten far too comfortable operating in the shadows.
Of course, the left can’t stand it. Career bureaucrats are panicking because their days of running unchecked are over. They act like the world will collapse if we don’t funnel billions into their pet projects. Meanwhile, Americans are struggling with inflation, crime, and a border crisis — but the left just wants to keep sending cash overseas. It’s clear which side puts America first, and it sure isn’t the globalist Democrats.
Let’s be honest: USAID was always a playground for liberals who think they know best. They handed out huge contracts to their friends and called it “aid.” When conservatives called for accountability, liberals screamed about “humanitarian needs” and tried to paint anyone asking questions as heartless. But under Trump, the gravy train stopped at the station for good.
Now, even if a Democrat tries to bring USAID back to life, the damage is done. Trump’s team did what needed to be done for the American people.
