Wall Street cash floods NYC and exposes Mamdani’s socialist hypocrisy

There’s nothing the left loves more than demonizing Wall Street—unless, of course, Wall Street is lining their own pockets. Take Zohran Mamdani, New York City’s latest socialist darling. He’s always screaming about how evil bankers bleed the city dry, blaming wealthy investors for everything from potholes to pigeons. But guess what? Now those same money masters are dumping stacks of cash in his lap.

You can almost hear the champagne bottles popping in lower Manhattan. Wall Street is rolling in profits, as usual, and New York is collecting a tidal wave of tax revenue from those billions. So why is Mamdani still whining about raising your taxes? Oh right—because that’s what socialist politicians do. Never mind reality, the truth, or basic math. As long as they can shriek about “the rich,” they’ll keep picking your wallet.

But here’s the rub: Mamdani just lost his favorite excuse. He can’t cry “poverty” while Wall Street’s tax payments are swelling city coffers. The money is rolling in, but these far-left ideologues don’t want you to notice. If they admit New York isn’t broke, their whole rob-the-middle-class agenda falls apart.

This is liberal hypocrisy served up on a golden platter. Leftists like Mamdani love to bash capitalists on camera, but behind closed doors, they’re happy to use those Wall Street billions for their pet projects and bloated spending. It’s the same double standard every time: rules for you, but not for them.

Isn’t it time we stopped letting socialists like Mamdani run the city into the ground with their tired old lies? New Yorkers are waking up—and after seeing tax dollars flow like a river, maybe they’ll finally slam the door on more waste, more taxes, and more socialist nonsense. If Wall Street’s windfall can’t fix our problems, maybe it’s time to admit the real problem is Mamdani and his pals.
