The world just dodged a terror attack that could have made history—and barely anyone on the left is talking about it. Investigators say that a FlyDubai co-pilot wanted to crash a packed passenger jet straight into Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport. If he’d succeeded, it would have been a blatant, horrifying echo of September 11th. How many innocent lives would have been lost? How much clearer does the threat need to be?
This wasn’t a random act by a disturbed individual. It was the result of years of radical Islamist brainwashing. The co-pilot’s views grew more extreme as the globalist media and progressive elites pretended that this ideology isn’t dangerous. While woke politicians wring their hands about imaginary “Islamophobia,” actual radicals are plotting real-world murder on a mass scale. It’s become obvious who the real threat is, yet far too many on the left would rather look the other way or make excuses.
Israel, once again, was the target. The same Israel that progressives, campus activists, and the usual anti-American crowd constantly demonize. It’s no coincidence. Anti-Israel hatred is the favorite cause of the radical left, both in America and abroad. Islamist terrorists have noticed—and they’re more than happy to use our own political divisions against us. How else do these monsters slip through and nearly turn a civilian flight into a flying coffin?
We have seen what happens when authorities ignore these red flags. Remember how the 9/11 hijackers moved freely while our government was more worried about being politically correct than being vigilant? Here we are, decades later, and not much has changed. Liberal leaders act shocked every time, but refuse to crack down on extremism. They tell us walls don’t work, strong vetting is “racist,” and anyone who questions “inclusion” is somehow the bad guy. Enough is enough.
The sad truth is, the only thing that stopped a tragedy this time was dumb luck—not liberal policies, not globalist open borders, and definitely not empty diversity slogans. When will the so-called leaders wake up and admit that radical Islamist terror is the real problem? Or do they just not care until it’s their own airport in smoke and flames?
