The Democrats love to lecture America about “diversity” and “inclusion,” but it seems like their own candidates are the ones dragging us back decades with their reckless behavior. Case in point: Mary Peltola, the so-called rising star from Alaska, is now facing ugly accusations of using racial slurs. The very people who scream about so-called “hate speech” can’t even keep their own house in order. Typical.
It’s part of a wider pattern, really. Just look at Democrat picks lately. Maine had a guy running around with Nazi tattoos — how’s that for “progressive values”? But instead of cleaning up their mess, the left just swaps in another questionable replacement, hoping voters will forget. It’s almost as if they don’t see the difference between virtue-signaling and actual character.
Then you have the bizarre antics of Democrats elsewhere. In Texas, one of their favorites has all but vanished, maybe off chasing the latest woke trend. This is the same crowd that calls God “non-binary.” These are the people lecturing Main Street Americans about morals. The left refuses to offer real solutions, preferring instead to worship the altar of everything “woke” and weird.
Now Mary Peltola wants to take on Republican Senator Dan Sullivan — a man who at least stands for Alaska values and American strength. Let’s not pretend the Democrats’ lineup isn’t a trainwreck. They can’t pick a candidate without some disaster attached to their name. Yet, they have the arrogance to claim moral authority, all the while playing political games with people’s lives.
At the end of the day, voters will have to ask: can we really trust Democrats to lead America when their own candidates can’t even follow basic decency? Maybe it’s time the left stops preaching to the rest of us and starts actually living out the values they pretend to defend.
