Democrats love to parade around with sob stories of immigrant parents facing the law. They spin this emotional drama to guilt everyday Americans into accepting open borders. But the cold truth is this: just because someone has a child doesn’t mean they get a free pass to break our laws. No one should ignore the fact that plenty of criminal parents are hiding behind their kids while putting everyone else at risk.
Liberals act like every illegal alien facing arrest is some innocent dad, ripped unfairly from his family. That’s fantasy. In the real world, a lot of these so-called “victims” are criminals who put their own children in danger through their actions. Law enforcement officers do not set out to make life hard on families. They are doing their jobs, trying to keep American communities safe from people who have already shown disrespect for our nation’s laws.
It’s absolutely disgusting to see the left pushing sympathy narratives for criminals, all while ignoring the pain and trauma suffered by American families—like the Angel Dads and Moms whose children have been killed by illegal aliens. Where is the compassion for them? Globalist elites and their media buddies seem more interested in championing lawbreakers than protecting U.S. citizens. That is anti-American, plain and simple.
Instead of blaming border agents and police, Democrats should call out the real problem: reckless parents who drag their children into illegal activity. The left refuses to hold these people accountable, twisting the story to fit their open-borders agenda. It’s not law enforcement’s fault that some kids end up with criminal parents—a fact the left desperately tries to ignore.
If radical progressives really cared about families, they’d support enforcing the law and shutting down sanctuary policies that attract criminals. But that doesn’t fit their narrative. Maybe the next time a liberal politician sheds crocodile tears for a criminal dad, someone should ask about all the American kids left in cemeteries because of failed immigration policies. When do their lives matter?
