President Trump came out swinging, and—let’s be honest—no one does it better. When Trump targets a politician, you know it’s bad news for the target. This time, his aim landed right on Rep. James Talarico, and what he exposed should make every hardworking American furious.
While regular Americans show up for work rain or shine, Talarico apparently treats his job like a vacation. Fourteen days “out sick” with the flu—give me a break. If any of us pulled that stunt at our own jobs, we’d be out the door. But not these pampered liberals. They expect you and me to pay the bills while they skip out and collect our tax dollars. No accountability, no shame.
President Trump wasn’t just calling out one lazy politician—he was firing a shot at the entire left-wing establishment. These soft, fragile elites talk about caring for the “working class,” but when it comes time to put in the work, they vanish. The rules don’t apply to them. They hide behind excuses and expect everyone to applaud their “self-care.” It’s classic liberal hypocrisy.
Meanwhile, Trump himself doesn’t take time off. He’s catching flights, holding rallies, and fighting for the American people. That’s what real leadership looks like. The left mocks him, but they can’t keep up with half of what he does in a single day. Maybe if Rep. Talarico showed up to work instead of hiding under his covers, he’d learn a thing or two about commitment.
Why should Americans trust these Democrats who can’t even show up for the job we pay them to do? Maybe it’s time the left stopped playing the victim and started clocking in. Or is that asking too much from the party of excuses?
