There’s nothing the radical left loves more than rewriting history and cozying up to their favorite failed ideologies. Just look at what Zohran Mamdani did this Italian Heritage Month. Instead of celebrating the achievements of hardworking Italian Americans, he decided it would be clever to praise some unknown communist nobody’s ever heard of. It’s exactly what you’d expect from a socialist mouthpiece—grabbing any opportunity to sneak in more Marxist propaganda, even into something as wholesome as heritage month.
Liberals claim they support diversity and American values, but what they really want is to erase the parts of history that don’t fit their globalist agenda. They ignore the real Italian heroes who built this country through sweat and sacrifice, choosing instead to prop up fringe radicals. This isn’t pride—it’s anti-American activism hiding behind a flag.
Every time a left-wing politician tries to paint communists as inspirational, they spit in the face of families who fled tyranny to find freedom in America. The truth is, people risked everything to escape the exact kind of authoritarian regimes Mamdani romanticizes. Maybe if he spent more time with real immigrants, he’d learn that “revolution” wasn’t something to be proud of, but something to be survived.
It’s puzzling, isn’t it? The left constantly accuses conservatives of being “out of touch,” yet they’re the ones ignoring the everyday struggles and achievements of working people. They don’t want to celebrate faith, family, or tradition. Instead, they chase magazine covers and internet clout by promoting figures history left behind for good reason.
Italian Heritage Month should be about celebrating family, community, and the American dream. But trust a Democrat to turn it into another chance to push radical politics. Are we going to let them rewrite our story—or is it finally time to call out their twisted priorities for what they are: a direct attack on America itself?
