Liberals blame guns for soaring gang violence but refuse to fix the real chaos in our cities

When crime explodes in American cities, the left has just one answer: strip law-abiding citizens of their rights. Now they’re waving Somali gang violence around like a bloody shirt, hoping voters will be scared enough to hand over their Second Amendment freedoms. It’s outrageous. Instead of admitting that soft-on-crime policies and open borders have filled our streets with chaos, liberals blame guns and try to punish hardworking Americans.

While gangs terrorize neighborhoods and families live in fear, the elites spin wild theories about “gun culture.” They never mention their own broken policies—like refusing to prosecute criminals, defending sanctuary cities, or inviting waves of unvetted immigrants. When violence erupts, their only plan is to pass new rules that disarm the good guys and leave the bad guys untouched. That’s not just ignorant. That’s dangerous.

It’s no surprise these same politicians rarely mention the actual causes of gang violence. Ask them about family breakdown, failed integration, or why police are drowning in red tape—they clam up. Instead, they parrot talking points from globalist groups who hate the very idea of a free, armed citizenry. To them, more control is always the answer. Never more responsibility. Never more honesty about what’s really happening.

Let’s not kid ourselves. The American right to bear arms is the main reason everyday people can still defend themselves while the left’s social experiments collapse all around us. Criminals don’t follow gun laws. They never have. But leftist lawmakers would rather see citizens helpless than admit their utopian fantasies have failed. So go ahead, Washington progressives—keep shouting about guns while you ignore the real problems festering in your cities. The rest of America sees what’s happening.
