Donald Trump just did what the so-called global “experts” claimed was impossible. He stepped in, cut through years of elite hand-wringing, and brokered real action: a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia on striking each other’s energy infrastructure. While the corporate press tried to make this war look endless and unsolvable, Trump cut a deal in days that actually benefits people on both sides. Imagine that—leadership that works for regular folks instead of the DC cocktail circuit or the military-industrial complex.
For months, liberals have told Americans to open their wallets for a bottomless pit in Ukraine. They insisted that our families tighten their belts while elites shipped billions overseas to keep a pointless grinding war going. Meanwhile, children in both Ukraine and Russia suffered blackouts, lost heat, and crumbled living conditions as each nation attacked the other’s power grid. But the narrative in Washington was always about endless escalation. The suffering of civilians was just background noise to their grand schemes. Then Trump walks in, as a true peacemaker, and forces the issue. He got both parties to agree on stopping the madness—at least when it comes to targeting energy.
Of course, this kind of progress exposes liberal hypocrisy for what it is. Democrats claim to care about the people, but their endless war funding has only prolonged misery. They talk tough on cable news, but when it comes to actual solutions, they would rather cling to their failed strategies than admit America First works. Meanwhile, Trump gets things done, all while the so-called experts are left gasping for air. Funny how the mainstream media always said Trump would ignite World War III, yet he’s the only one getting two enemies to stand down—even if just for a moment.
And what do we see from Ukraine? Suddenly, President Zelensky is talking about holding elections—something the liberal establishment said was impossible during wartime. Only after Trump forces peace does the idea of democracy come back into play. That’s no coincidence. Without Trump, there’s no pressure for real reform or progress. The globalists loved hiding Ukraine’s lack of democracy behind the smokescreen of war—they never wanted people to notice how the billions sent vanished in a black hole of unaccountability.
Let’s be honest: the anti-Trump crowd couldn’t have pulled off this breakthrough even if they tried. Their playbook is all empty slogans, not results. Trump’s America First common sense—putting the interests of the people above the warmongers and political class—just proved, once again, why he was the only real dealmaker. Maybe it’s time Democrats stop pretending they’re on the side of peace. Or is the problem that they don’t want the war to end?
