California’s Ballot Insanity: Fourteen New Ways to Destroy Common Sense
This November, California proves once again why it’s the poster child for failed liberal leadership. Voters aren’t just facing one or two initiatives—they’re staring down a bloated list of 14 ballot measures. If that isn’t a sign of a government hooked on overreach and confusion, what is? Liberals love to act like democracy means slapping every half-baked idea onto the ballot. In reality, it’s just more clownish bureaucracy and, frankly, an insult to taxpayers.
Some of these measures look harmless at first glance—but don’t be fooled. Buried underneath all the slick advertising and fake “public good” talk are attacks on families, businesses, and basic responsibility. The left can’t help itself. There’s always some sneaky proposal for higher taxes, more government interference, or new spending schemes dressed up as “progress.” Voters are expected to play whack-a-mole with each one, trying to dodge the next great liberal money grab.
Let’s talk about the measures pushing “equity” and “social justice”—that’s code for bigger handouts and more guilt trips for hardworking Californians. When bureaucrats talk about “expanding services,” it’s really about doubling down on failed policies, lining the pockets of union bosses, and rewarding laziness. The only thing that expands is government power, while regular folks pick up the tab. When will Democrats admit all these so-called solutions just feed the monster of runaway spending?
Don’t forget, there’s always some anti-business poison lurking on the ballot. The progressive war on small businesses rolls on, as leftist politicians keep trying to punish entrepreneurs with higher costs and more red tape. They’ll call it “protecting workers” or “saving the environment,” but all they’re really doing is driving jobs out of the state. They seem happy to watch California’s economy sink, just as long as it fits their woke agenda.
At the end of the day, California’s ballot measures are a liberal wish list—with the rest of America watching in horror. Fourteen measures to ruin whatever’s left of common sense in the Golden State. Is anyone surprised that families are packing up and leaving faster than you can say “tax hike”? Only the radical left could make democracy look this ridiculous.
