It’s almost like they forgot that nobody is above the law—not even their favorite far-left politicians.
Instead of asking hard questions, CNN’s team went straight into damage control, worrying aloud about the timing. Heaven forbid a criminal investigation should dare to disrupt Democrat campaign season! Funny, isn’t it? When it’s a Republican under investigation, liberals can’t wait to declare the end is near. But when one of their crowned progressives gets a knock on their front door from the Feds, suddenly it’s a crisis for democracy.
This is what Americans are sick of: the two-tiered system where the left’s darlings get sympathy and excuses while conservative voices get dragged through the mud. Let’s not forget who Ilhan Omar really is—an outspoken radical who’s never missed a chance to trash American values and push globalist, anti-American rhetoric. But when federal agents come calling, the left’s mouthpieces act like she’s the real victim.
Maybe it’s time CNN and the rest of the liberal media learn a lesson in objectivity. Instead of clutching their pearls every time the law reaches out to someone on their side, maybe they should start asking why federal agents were at Omar’s home in the first place. Does accountability only count when it’s directed at conservatives? The left loves to talk about “protecting democracy,” but somehow their idea of democracy involves shielding their own from scrutiny.
The bottom line: Americans see right through this melodramatic show. Nobody should be above investigation—no matter how many prime time anchors lose sleep over it. If the left wants to convince the country they aren’t hypocrites, they should start by treating their own with the same tough standards they dish out to everyone else. Or maybe the real question is: what is the liberal media so desperate to hide?
