Every time Alaskans head to the polls under the mess called ranked choice voting, it feels like Washington, D.C. just dumped another pile of cash on top of our ballots. RCV is a scheme pushed by the left, for the left, and it’s no accident the biggest backers all come from thousands of miles away. People in Alaska never wanted this. Now, who do we see pulling the strings? Outsiders and globalists, hiding behind “dark money” groups and slick ads, all desperate to keep control of our elections.
These so-called champions of “democracy” can’t stop wagging their fingers about dark money when it’s conservatives getting donations. But when it’s time to promote their pet project—making our votes more confusing and less local—they’re first in line to cash those secret checks. Alaska voters saw this scam back in 2020, when RCV was shoved onto the ballot by Outside millionaires who don’t know the first thing about our way of life. And surprise, they flooded the state with their money all over again when we tried to repeal the disaster.
The truth is, regular Alaskans fought back against this leftist power grab in 2024. Even though our side was outspent by Outside groups, we nearly won—coming within just 700 votes. That’s how strong the movement is against these anti-American election games. It’s the D.C. elite and their hired guns who want to keep us quiet. They want to drown out Alaskan voices under piles of cash, all while pretending they’re standing up for the little guy. Hypocrisy doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Now, here comes 2026, and the fight’s heating up again. The people backing RCV still refuse to answer tough questions about where their money comes from or what they’re really after. Is this about making elections “fair,” or just rigging the deck for their own kind? The left will never admit how many of their plans rely on keeping regular Americans in the dark and out of power. They flood our state with fancy consultants and mysterious donations, all to prop up a system nobody wanted except for their donors.
It’s time to call out these liberal hacks for what they are—hypocrites who love dark money when it’s lining their own pockets. Alaskans didn’t ask for RCV, but we sure as heck know how to fight against outside meddlers. The next time someone lectures us about “protecting democracy,” maybe ask them why their hands are so deep in D.C. special interest cash. Are they really standing up for the Last Frontier, or just selling us out one dirty dollar at a time?
