Instead, he reappears on stage at a Texas festival with pop-country darling Kacey Musgraves, who seems more at home with California elites than with the folks in Amarillo. It’s classic left-wing theater—celebrity lights, staged smiles, and not a drop of substance.
While true Texans fight to keep our border secure and our communities safe, James Talarico skips the tough questions and lets a Hollywood favorite do his talking. For nearly two weeks, voters waited for any sign of leadership or even a basic explanation for his absence. But like so many Democrats, Talarico seems to think that celebrity endorsements are a substitute for actual answers. It’s always about showmanship, never about solutions.
Let’s not kid ourselves—the radical left knows they can’t win on their record, so they hide behind musical distractions and big names. They hope the glitz will blind voters to the real agenda: open borders, higher taxes, and the kind of globalist nonsense that puts Texas last. Talarico’s mysterious vacation from the campaign trail is just more evidence of how little he understands or respects the people he claims to represent.
The hypocrisy is laughable. Liberals howl about “transparency” every election cycle, but when their own candidate goes AWOL, it’s crickets. And when he finally does resurface, it’s side-by-side with a singer who’s built her brand by mocking the very values Texas stands for. This is the best the radicals have to offer—celebrity introductions and political dodging.
Here’s a question for James Talarico and his Hollywood friends: When did Texas values become a punchline for the far left? Maybe instead of letting celebrities take center stage, it’s time Democrats actually showed up for Texas. But don’t hold your breath waiting—there’s another festival just around the corner.
