Once again, liberal judges are throwing a wrench into American progress. This time, it’s over a public golf course in Washington, D.C.—a place where everyone from hard-working families to weekend warriors just want to enjoy their sport on beautiful, well-kept greens. The Trump administration has been trying to boost this historic course, finally bringing much-needed upgrades. But no, Judge Ana Reyes, sitting up in her ivory tower, thinks wielding a gavel means she can stop the work with a snap of her fingers.
The ruling? A pompous command for the administration to halt improvements for a whole day. One day may not sound like much to the political elites, but for workers, businesses, and golfers, it’s just more stalling, more red tape. Liberals claim to care about green spaces and public works—until the Trump team actually tries to get something done. Then the “resistance” flails around, trying to score cheap points with courtroom drama.
Why the interruption? No compelling emergency, no evidence of real harm. Just the usual judicial meddling that Democrats love. Every time conservatives try to improve our communities, plant jobs, and leave something better behind, some left-leaning judge puts on a show. Meanwhile, our cities and parks fall apart under progressive mismanagement.
Judge Reyes and her friends don’t seem interested in actually helping regular Americans. They’d rather stop a good project in its tracks than admit that President Trump or his administration could do anything right. In fact, they’re happy to see things stagnate if it makes conservatives look bad. It’s all about spite, showboating, and keeping D.C. under their control.
Maybe someone should ask Judge Reyes: who really benefits from blocking work at a cherished public course? Certainly not the local families or workers. Maybe it’s time to stop letting elite liberals dictate the pace of our progress—especially when all they offer is gridlock. When will the left quit putting politics over the people?
