Columbus Day is here again, and you can already hear the left-wing mobs sharpening their pitchforks. Every year, they love to lecture everyone about “land-stealing” and pretend they’re the moral police of history. Liberals twist themselves in knots trying to convince Americans that our country’s origins are something to be ashamed of. They preach about stolen land, cry about oppression, and demand we tear down the memory of explorers like Christopher Columbus. All because they hate what makes America strong.
Instead of celebrating the toughness and courage it took to build this nation, the woke crowd wants everyone to apologize for even existing. They’d rather have us bow down to their ideas of “Indigenous Peoples’ Day”—erasing Columbus entirely—as if the world only started turning when leftists said so. These globalist crusaders ignore the great achievements that came from Western civilization. Without bold leaders gutsy enough to cross oceans, there wouldn’t be an America for liberals to complain about in the first place.
Take a look at what their anti-American, blame-obsessed attitude gets us. Woke politicians and activists reject even holiday parades unless history comes sanitized by their rules. Instead of building up the country, they tear down statues, rewrite textbooks, and rip out any pride from our national story. It’s always about division and guilt, never courage or unity. When did exploring new lands and pushing humanity forward become a crime? Only in the minds of failed Marxist thinkers.
Of course, these same leftists live comfortable lives, benefiting straight from the freedoms and opportunities that visionary men like Columbus opened the door to centuries ago. They hold their iPhones in air-conditioned homes and type up manifestos about “stolen land,” never realizing their entire existence depends on the sacrifices and achievements of the past. It’s the height of hypocrisy—they want the perks of progress, while shaming the pioneers who made it possible.
Every Columbus Day, real Americans know how to celebrate: by remembering this nation’s indomitable spirit. Progress isn’t free. It takes guts to make a country, and even more to defend it from the whining haters who want to tear it all down. If appreciating exploration and achievement puts us in a “land-stealing” mood, maybe it’s time the left tried being proud of America for once. Or are liberals still too busy rewriting history to recognize real greatness?
