North Korea launches more missiles while liberals twiddle their thumbs and the world gets more dangerous

North Korea is back to its old tricks. On Monday morning, the world woke up to news that the communist dictatorship fired more missiles toward the Sea of Japan. The international left wants us to act like this is normal, but there’s nothing normal about a rogue regime led by a pudgy tyrant playing with weapons while the free world does nothing but twiddle its thumbs.

You know what’s tired? The same weak responses from global elites every single time Kim Jong Un rattles his saber. Liberals claim they want “peaceful solutions,” but all we’ve gotten is more empty talk and fewer consequences. President after president, they hand over blank checks to international bureaucrats and hope North Korea will just behave. How has that strategy worked? Another missile in the sky, that’s how.

Let’s not pretend Pyongyang makes these launches in a vacuum. Kim Jong Un can read the room. When Washington projects weakness—and let’s not kid ourselves, the current administration lives for appeasement—America’s enemies feel bold. Sanctions? The regime laughs them off. Strong words? They don’t lose any sleep. This is what happens when America’s foreign policy is run by people more afraid of mean headlines than actual threats.

Meanwhile, our allies in Japan and South Korea face the front lines of Kim’s belligerence. But the usual response from the left is to blame conservatives—as if being tough on dictators somehow invites aggression. It’s the same tired story: conservatives call for strength, liberals whine about “diplomacy” but deliver nothing. All the while, the world becomes more dangerous and unpredictable.

How many times does Kim Jong Un have to press that launch button before the global left admits their strategy has failed? The next time he tests a missile, will anyone in Washington even notice—or are they too busy chasing climate change fantasies while real threats rocket across the sky? If this is the liberal version of “peace,” give us a little more American muscle and a lot less handwringing.
