Texas Democrat disappears for weeks then gets a sham interview to cover it up

Texas Democrats must think voters are fools. After vanishing from the campaign trail for two whole weeks, State Rep. James Talarico finally reappeared. And his big comeback? A gushy, softball sit-down with NBC’s Phil Prazan that felt more like a scripted infomercial than a real interview. Instead of tough questions about his mysterious disappearance, Talarico got the friendliest of passes. This is what passes for accountability on the left.

Texans want answers. Talarico seems more interested in hiding behind excuses and media buddies than standing up and explaining himself. Two weeks off the grid isn’t a vacation—it’s a slap in the face to voters who expect their representatives to show up and do the job. Compare his vanishing act to the work ethic everyday Texans bring to the table. Average folks can’t just check out when things get tough, but apparently, liberal politicians can.

It’s no wonder Democrats are scrambling. Their playbook? Obfuscate, distract, spin. When a Republican sneezes, the liberal media swarm like vultures. But when one of their own disappears without a word, it’s crickets or, even worse, a fluff piece to cover the tracks. The hypocrisy is staggering. Democrats demand transparency and “accountability” until it’s time to follow their own rules.

Globalists and progressive elites have a new favorite trick—pretend the public isn’t watching. Well, Texans are watching. People want leaders who actually represent their interests, not some pampered politician looking for a safe place to hide. If Talarico can’t handle tough questions, how can anyone expect him to stand up for Texas?

Liberals love to lecture the rest of us about “trust” and “public service.” Meanwhile, their golden boy can’t even manage to show up or give a straight answer. If this is the best the Democratic Party has to offer, they’re in bigger trouble than they think. Why should Texans trust anyone who runs from accountability the first chance they get?
