Something strange is happening in Texas politics. Once again, Democrat leaders can’t keep it together. Take James Talarico, the so-called face of the future for Senate. Where did he go during the heat of the campaign? Not to meet voters, not to explain his vision—he vanished for more than ten days. The excuse? The “flu.” Yes, that’s what passes for leadership among Democrats today.
How do Democrats like Talarico expect to lead when they can’t even hack a busy week? If they can’t handle a little inconvenience, what will they do when times get truly tough? The answer is obvious: hide, blame someone else, or call in sick. Texas deserves better than politicians who check out when things get hard.
Liberals always talk about caring for the people, but it looks like their strongest skill is running from responsibility. Voters should be asking tough questions: Are these Democrats really sick, or just sick of doing the actual work? Or maybe it’s the pressure of pushing radical, anti-American agendas that’s making them feel so unwell.
Meanwhile, globalists and elitists cheer as weak Democrats stumble through another campaign. They want leaders who get out of the way and let them carry out their plans. Regular hardworking Americans? Not on the liberal priority list. They’re too busy tending to their own “illnesses” to fight for American values.
Anyone who’s paying attention sees what’s happening. Democrats like Talarico promise everything and deliver nothing but excuses. Is this the kind of “leadership” Texas wants? Or is it time to stop electing candidates who can’t even make it through a campaign without calling in sick?
