The liberal establishment is once again losing its mind over President Trump daring to put America first. Now, a group of panicked senators has come out swinging, demanding Trump slam the brakes on a Russian diesel deal. Their excuse? They complain it’s illegal because of a 2022 ban on Russian energy imports. But let’s call this what it is: grandstanding and virtue signaling from a Congress that barely lifted a finger when Biden and his cronies shoved America straight into an energy crisis.
What these senators won’t admit is their own role in pushing the United States into the arms of foreign dictators for fuel. Thanks to their mindless devotion to the green agenda, Americans pay out the nose at the pump, while our so-called leaders chase windmills and solar panels that can’t power a toaster, let alone a nation. Trump actually wants to make sure Americans have the energy they need—no apologies, no bowing to Europe, and sure as heck no groveling to Russia or China.
Let’s not forget, the once-great American energy sector was crippled by the left’s obsession with climate cult policies. We were energy independent before Biden took office, and, under Trump, oil and gas flowed freely. Now? Our own lawmakers are more worried about “optics” than reality. They freak out over a fuel deal that could keep America running, just because it ruffles international feathers. Meanwhile, our enemies laugh as we tie our own hands behind our backs.
It’s the same old story: liberals cry Russian interference or scream “illegal!” whenever Trump finds a path, any path, to fix Biden’s disasters. Never mind that these same politicians loved Russian oil when it let them look tough on TV, then quietly changed their tune once it suited the globalist agenda. Their hypocrisy is endless. Suddenly, the rules only matter when they stop Trump from actually getting things done for hardworking Americans.
It’s time to ask—why are D.C. insiders more afraid of Trump’s solutions than of America going dark and cold? Why do they care more about European approval than U.S. prosperity? The real scandal isn’t a fuel deal. It’s the left’s endless war on American energy, American jobs, and the American way of life. Maybe they’re “outraged” because Trump, once again, exposes just how useless they really are.
