The left can’t stand it when the facts don’t fit their narrative. For days, the liberal media got all worked up over supposed “bombshell” allegations about Donald Trump’s sons, Don Jr. and Eric. Wild claims flying about defense contracts and business interests. They couldn’t hide their excitement, rushing to splash dirt on the Trump family. But suddenly, the story was yanked offline. Why? Because it fell apart as fast as the Russia hoax.
Let’s be clear: liberals want Americans to believe any business success by someone named Trump is suspicious. They act shocked—like it’s the first time ever a big company did business with the U.S. military. Please. Washington elites and their cronies have made fortunes off defense for decades, but if the last name isn’t Biden or Clinton, the media goes on a witch hunt. This latest “scoop” was nothing more than thinly veiled envy.
Every time the Trumps even sneeze, the media wants an investigation. But when their golden boy Hunter Biden cashes in from shady foreign deals, suddenly there’s nothing to see. The sheer hypocrisy is shocking. If anything, this spectacle shows just how terrified the establishment is of outsiders with backbone and real world skills.
The left hates winners, plain and simple. They want the American dream to be about handouts and mediocrity, not family business and hard work. The Trumps fight to make America strong—so the globalist crowd fights them every step. Notice how quick the “hit piece” got memory-holed once the facts didn’t match the fantasy? If only the same energy was spent investigating the real corruption in D.C.
If liberals think another silly witch hunt will distract people from their failures, they’re wrong. Americans know a smear job when they see one. Maybe next time, the media should worry more about the truth—and less about protecting the Democrat agenda. But that would take honesty, wouldn’t it?
