Hollywood loves to lecture everyday Americans about “decency” and “morals,” but apparently those same rules never apply to their own pampered stars. The latest example? Actress Selma Blair—yes, the so-called “feminist icon” from Legally Blonde—was slapped in handcuffs after she reportedly went on a violent rampage mid-flight, attacking two Delta Air Lines attendants. The left loves to paint conservatives as the dangerous ones, but their own darlings can’t seem to handle the basics of civilization 35,000 feet in the air.
The left-wing elite always act like they’re above the rules. Blair, 54, allegedly attacked innocent airline crew members and, believe it or not, tried to open the airplane door thousands of feet above the ground. She didn’t care if she put dozens of lives at risk. This is what happens when you raise a generation to believe feelings come before facts and that consequences are for “regular” people.
Liberals in Hollywood love to preach about “safety” and “community,” but when it’s one of their own on a mental crusade, suddenly the rules get blurry. How many times have we seen “woke” celebrities melt down in public, threatening everyone’s safety, only to be coddled by the media? If a conservative mom had dared do something like this, there would be wall-to-wall coverage and calls for her to be locked up and the key thrown away.
But let’s not forget, this isn’t just about one out-of-control actress. It’s about a culture that rewards narcissism, excuses bad behavior, and turns a blind eye when its powerful members go rogue. The same blue-haired crowd that demands open borders and defunded police now expects the rest of us to stay calm when their own heroes threaten lives in midair. Ordinary Americans are sick of the double standards.
This little episode is a perfect snapshot of the liberal meltdown gripping this country. When will the left admit that their “do as I say, not as I do” attitude—whether on airplanes, city streets, or the border—is destroying the foundation of law and order? Maybe it’s time Hollywood’s “woke” brigade stopped worrying about politics and started learning basic manners. Or is that too much to ask from the sanctimonious elites who claim to know better than everyone else?
