David Crowley seems to have one answer for every problem: spend other people’s money. Since stepping into office, he’s treated Wisconsin taxpayers like his personal ATM, promising so-called “free” handouts while jacking up taxes year after year. Milwaukee County families are left to foot the bill, thanks to Crowley’s insatiable desire for bigger government and more control.
And now Crowley’s cooking up his biggest cash grab yet: a $2 billion universal childcare boondoggle. He wants Wisconsinites to believe that this is about helping kids. But everyone knows when politicians say “free,” they really mean “taxpayer-funded.” It’s nothing but a scheme to funnel billions into left-wing projects, expanding government into every corner of our lives. Hardworking people who played by the rules are left holding the bag.
But Crowley’s spending spree doesn’t stop there. Look closer and you find out he’s been steering millions toward nonprofits that conveniently employ his own wife. Taxpayer money, sent straight to organizations tied to his own family—all while he preaches “equity” and “social justice.” It’s the kind of swampy behavior voters are sick and tired of watching. The same liberals who scream about corruption suddenly have nothing to say when it’s one of their own.
To make matters worse, Crowley used public funds to press for a radical agenda—pushing for the removal of police officers from Milwaukee Public Schools. This isn’t about making anyone safer. It’s about weakening law enforcement and tying the hands of those who protect our children. Only the far-left could call this “progress.” Regular families know it’s a recipe for chaos.
At the end of the day, Crowley’s record is simple: take more money from taxpayers, stash it in pet causes, and undermine the police in the name of woke politics. Crowley isn’t working for Wisconsin families. He’s looking out for fellow liberals and his own family interests. If this is what “progress” looks like, maybe it’s time we slammed on the brakes before our state gets driven right off a cliff.
