Socialist politicians like Mamdani want to punish Tisch after last week’s ICE shooting, blaming the police instead of the criminals. Only in progressive fantasyland do cops defending law and order become the real villains.
Let’s be clear—Jessica Tisch is doing the job these soft-on-crime ideologues refuse to do. She stands up to violent offenders while pandering politicians clutch their pearls and cry about so-called injustice. The left wants chaos. They’d rather see criminals walk free than have strong police leadership. Why? Because nothing terrifies the socialist crowd more than a city where families feel safe, where thugs are held accountable, and where hardworking Americans can go about their lives without fear.
While Tisch works to clean up the streets, extremists on the City Council play political games. They point fingers at the NYPD whenever something goes wrong, but their own policies handcuff officers and embolden repeat offenders. These are the same politicians who want to defund the police, open the borders, and let New York devolve into the crime-riddled mess their globalist buddies seem to love.
