The left just can’t stand it when America puts itself first. But that’s exactly what we’re seeing with the Trump administration making a bold move to ramp up our energy production right here at home. By invoking the Defense Production Act to expand a Texas refinery, President Trump is putting American workers, American energy, and American security at the top of the priority list. It’s about time somebody stood up to the disastrous globalist energy agenda that has crippled our country for too long.
While liberals wring their hands and chant about “green” fantasies, real leaders know that energy independence is the backbone of national security. Just look at the chaos in the Middle East—fighting that has put real strain on our own munitions supply. Earlier this year, the administration had to use the Defense Production Act to keep us from running out of critical military equipment. Now, the focus is on making sure we aren’t forced to bow down to the green lobby—or, worse, foreign dictators—when it comes to fueling our great nation.
Energy is power, pure and simple. Democrats want America on its knees, begging foreigners for scraps, all in the name of some imaginary climate utopia. They’re happy to let other countries pollute the planet while they kill jobs and raise prices at home. But President Trump sees right through their nonsense. He understands that a nation without strong energy is a nation waiting to be bullied.
Texas is the beating heart of American oil. Expanding refineries there means more jobs for families, lower costs at the pump, and an economy that actually works for the citizens who built it. Liberals talk endlessly about “fairness” but don’t seem to care if the American worker is left behind while China and Russia get stronger. What kind of “leadership” is that?
The message should be loud and clear: America comes first. If the left wants to keep America weak, they’re welcome to keep whining. But real Americans know that you don’t win by apologizing for your success. You win by using every tool in the toolbox to make this country stronger. Has anyone ever seen Joe Biden fight this hard for American energy—or does he just fight for whatever the globalists tell him to do?
