The Ukrainian military just pulled off something the mainstream media won’t dare talk about honestly. When they hit that massive Yandex data center right in the heart of Moscow, the effects rocked not just Russia but the whole world of social media. Suddenly, it looks like there were fewer bots pushing propaganda and fake news online. Maybe this is what happens when you take out the digital heart of a country built on lies.
For years now, conservatives have been warning about armies of Russian bots poisoning the internet with their manipulations. Shadowy networks, sneaky algorithms, all designed to confuse people and swing public debate—especially during elections. But don’t forget, it’s the same liberals who screamed “Russian bots” whenever their ideas were challenged on Twitter or Facebook. Strange, though, how those same liberals now seem silent about this direct attack on the machine behind their favorite scapegoat.
What’s even more telling? The left’s globalist friends always claim that more censorship and Big Tech crackdowns are the answer. They whine about foreign misinformation and demand Silicon Valley act as the speech police. Yet when real-world action actually disrupts the shady operations cooking up these bot armies, they go quiet. Maybe they’re afraid people will realize the internet is a lot freer when you knock down the regime’s digital fortress—not when you muzzle conservatives with “fact checks.”
Ukraine’s precise strike highlights another uncomfortable truth the left ignores: digital warfare matters. While U.S. liberals busy themselves with endless impeachment theater and grandstanding on gender pronouns, real conflict is being fought on the servers and networks that shape public opinion. But don’t expect the New York Times or CNN to admit that the bot problem was real all along, or that bold action did more than their endless talking ever could.
Instead of embracing this wake-up call, the usual suspects will call for more bureaucracy, more censorship, and probably another round of blame aimed right at anyone who stands up for truth. Here’s what they’ll never say: sometimes, justice really does require taking direct aim at the heart of corruption—digital or otherwise. Maybe the real question is, what else would we see online if the left wasn’t so desperate to cover up their cozy ties to Big Tech and foreign influence?
