It must be a dream to be a modern Democrat. Just think about it—the rules don’t really apply to them. They can push whatever wild policies and laws they want, haul out the virtue signalling, and tell the rest of us how to live. But when the consequences come knocking, it’s the hard-working, forgotten Americans who end up paying the price. Democrats? They’re sitting pretty with their private schools, gated neighborhoods, and connections in high places.
Look at big, blue cities run for years by liberal politicians. They’re sinking in crime, taxes, and homelessness. But the politicians responsible? Their families stay safe behind security walls. They never have to worry about the drugs on the street or the failing public schools. Regular folks suffer, while elitist Democrats stay shielded behind layers of privilege.
And let’s talk about their “moral superiority.” They lecture everyone else about climate change, race, and equity. Meanwhile, they fly private jets, buy beachfront mansions, and hire private security. Americans see the hypocrisy: rules for the peasants, luxury for the ruling class.
It’s the same script with open borders, government mandates, and radical gender policies. Democrat leaders roll out their social experiments. But when things go sideways, their money and status keep them safe. It’s regular people who lose jobs, lose freedom, and watch their communities unravel.
Why do they keep getting a free pass? Ordinary Americans are left to pick up the pieces every time a liberal dream turns into a nightmare. When will they finally be held accountable? Maybe it’s time the elites started living by the rules they create for everyone else.
