The girls at Camas High School just did something that should have happened a long time ago. They stood up for real women’s sports. About a dozen female cross-country runners simply walked off the course rather than race against a biological male. Enough is enough, and these girls were brave enough to pull back the curtain on the left’s fantasy land.
This isn’t just about a small-town race in Washington. It’s about fairness—something progressives love to talk about until it actually matters. Liberals keep pushing so-called “inclusion,” no matter how many girls get shoved aside. Here’s the truth: no matter what the woke crowd screams, science isn’t up for debate. Boys are boys, girls are girls. Period. Sports are supposed to be competitive, not a tool for social engineering.
The male runner in question even started the season running with the boys’ team. But thanks to the clumsy hand of leftist policy—and a total refusal to respect women—he switched to competing as a “girl.” Was anybody surprised when the girls decided not to aid the charade? The left can try all it wants to pretend this is progress. All it does is erase women.
Liberals pretend to care about empowering girls, but they throw them under the bus for their globalist, gender-blurring agenda. Female athletes train for years, hoping to earn their spots and break personal records. They don’t put in all that work just to become political pawns for some grown-up’s virtue-signaling fantasy. If you care about women’s rights, how about protecting their sports for a change?
These girls have more backbone than most politicians. If the adults in charge won’t protect girls’ sports, then the kids themselves will rise up—and walk out. Maybe it’s time for America to grow a spine and stop sacrificing truth just to appease the woke mob. How long before more girls follow their lead and finally say “Not today, dude”?
