Radical leftists demand NYPD boss fired for daring to crack down on violent illegal immigrants

The radical Left is at it again—this time, they’re trying to tell New York City how to run its police department. The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), always ready to coddle criminals and illegal aliens, are demanding that Mayor Zohran Mamdani fire NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch. Their so-called “reason”? They’re mad the NYPD is even thinking about doing its job—like working with ICE to get dangerous, illegal repeat-offenders off the street.

Let’s be clear about what’s really going on. Earlier this month, an illegal immigrant with a long history of violence was shot after threatening officers. Instead of supporting law and order, the DSA’s reaction is to point fingers at the cops and demand total surrender to their ridiculous “sanctuary city” ideology. They’re crying about “collaboration with ICE,” as if enforcing basic laws is now a crime.

The DSA calls ICE a terrorist organization—just let that sink in. These are American law enforcement officials working to protect citizens from violent criminals, and yet the socialists have the audacity to call them terrorists. It’s a perfect example of just how out of touch this crowd is. They’re more worried about the “feelings” of violent illegals than they are about the safety of legal, taxpaying Americans.

Mayor Mamdani, for now, claims he has no plans to fire Commissioner Tisch. Well, that’s a start—but with this kind of unrelenting pressure from the far-left mob, who knows how long he’ll hold the line? The radicals always want blood, and they won’t stop until every last defender of law and order is out of a job and every street in the Big Apple belongs to criminals.

The truth is, these globalist progressives want open borders, no consequences for lawbreakers, and endless apologies for anyone who chooses to violate America’s sovereignty. They don’t care about victims. They don’t care about families who want safe neighborhoods. They care about ramming their anti-police, anti-American agenda down our throats. Anyone with an ounce of common sense should be asking: since when did upholding the law become a bigger sin than breaking it?
