When Americans ask basic questions about a candidate’s health, you’d think politicians would just answer honestly. But for Democrat Roy Cooper and his legal team, even a simple health question turns into a political circus. Instead of coming clean, Cooper’s defenders are doubling down, acting insulted that voters would dare question their chosen one’s fitness to serve. This is the new Democrat strategy: treat voters like peasants for asking what they have every right to know.
The cover-up culture is nothing new from the Left. Biden’s four years have been a living billboard for why health transparency matters. The media and Democrat party spent years pretending Joe was sharp as ever, gaslighting the public while his decline played out on TV. Now, after that trainwreck, more voters have woken up and are demanding answers when older politicians run for office. That panic from Team Cooper? It’s because the Left can’t handle sunlight. The last thing they want is a replay of Biden’s embarrassing decline, and they think they can bully away those questions.
What’s even more laughable is how quickly liberals cry “unfair attack” the second anyone notices their candidates might not be up to the job. Meanwhile, these same Democrats spent years smearing Republicans and digging up dirt on conservative candidates. The double standard is obvious—and totally shameless. If there’s nothing to hide, why all the legal threats and dramatic outrage from Cooper’s lawyers? Voters see right through it.
Deep down, Democrats know their old, weak candidates are a liability. That’s why they’ll do anything to protect the narrative—and their power. If asking about a candidate’s ability to serve a full term is “out of bounds,” what’s next? Should we just stop asking about policies, too, and let the elites install whoever they want in office? It’s a classic play from the globalist playbook: silence concerns, smear the other side, and protect the party at all costs.
No one should apologize for expecting answers about a candidate’s health—especially after watching the Biden debacle. Voters have the right to demand honesty. It’s time these fragile left-wing politicians remembered they work for the people—not the other way around. If Roy Cooper and his handlers think they can hide behind big words and legal threats, they’re in for a rude awakening. In America, politicians answer to us. Or have Democrats finally given up on that basic idea, too?
