Springsteen charges fans big bucks for woke lectures not rock and roll

Bruce Springsteen, the self-proclaimed “voice of the common man,” is now more like the king of cash grabs and woke lectures. Forget sticking up for the working class—Springsteen has become just another multi-millionaire rock star lecturing his aging audience between songs while pocketing gobs of their hard-earned dollars. Want to see him live this year? You’d better be ready to fork over anywhere from close to a hundred bucks to several thousand dollars for one measly ticket. That’s the cost of admission to hear the Boss read you the riot act about social justice and climate change before mumbling half-hearted renditions of his old hits.

This is what passes for entertainment today: A “woke” sermon from an out-of-touch, over-the-hill celebrity who’s more focused on preaching than performing. Remember when concerts were about music, fun, and patriotism? Not anymore. The left’s favorite aging icon has turned concerts into political rallies. Instead of uniting people, he divides them—unless, of course, you’re part of his elite, virtue-signaling club. The working man he used to sing about can’t even afford a ticket.

Don’t forget the fat cats at Ticketmaster cashing in on the spectacle. Progressive politicians love to rail against greedy corporations—unless those corporations are bankrolling their pet celebrities. The truth is, these woke-celebs and their Big Tech allies only care about everyday Americans when there’s money to be made or self-righteous points to be scored. Hypocrisy is the real encore at these shows.

Meanwhile, fans get stuck watching a tired act who needs his band to bail him out every time he runs out of steam, loses his place, or trips on stage. And what do the loyal Springsteen faithful get for their trouble? Not a night to remember, but an expensive lecture you could’ve heard for free on a college campus or, worse, MSNBC.

America doesn’t need another liberal millionaire wagging his finger at us while raking in mountains of cash. It’s time to call out these globalist entertainers for what they are: out-of-touch elites selling overpriced tickets and phony morality. Maybe Springsteen should try being born to run from his own hypocrisy.
