You won’t believe where California’s high speed rail billions actually went

California’s Liberal Boondoggle: High-Speed Rail Hurtles Off the Rails

California politicians sure know how to burn through your hard-earned money. Just look at their favorite make-believe project: so-called “high-speed” rail. It was supposed to revolutionize how people travel. Now, after years of broken promises and out-of-control spending, all taxpayers have to show for it is a bottomless money pit.

This train to nowhere was supposed to be finished back in 2020. Fast forward to today—not a single track actually laid. While families struggle to pay for gas and groceries, the High-Speed Rail Authority keeps demanding more cash. The price tag now balloons past $126 BILLION. That’s your money. That’s money California could have spent on real problems—like homelessness, crime, or fixing crumbling roads. But liberals, obsessed with flashy projects and globalist pipe dreams, always want something new and shiny for their donors.

GOP lawmakers in California aren’t having it. They are calling for the resignation of the rail authority’s CEO. And who can blame them? The folks running this disaster have wasted and mismanaged funds for years. Yet, no one is held accountable. The leftist elites just shrug and ask for more.

Let’s be real: this isn’t about building a better future for regular Americans. This is about protecting powerful interests, cushioning bureaucrats, and pretending California is leading the world in “green” technology. Meanwhile, the rest of the country sees a parade of empty promises and government arrogance.

Taxpayers are being fleeced while liberal leaders puff out their chests and talk about progress. Here’s a thought: maybe the only high-speed rail in California is the gravy train for connected insiders. If these Democrats ran a business like this, they’d be fired in a heartbeat. So why are they still running the state? When will taxpayers say enough is enough?
