From endless government snooping to kicking in doors over COVID lockdowns, the left didn’t care about rights—not when it meant more power for themselves. But now that a member of the progressive squad is the one being questioned, they flip the script and clutch their pearls about civil liberties.
Where were these so-called champions of the Constitution when the FBI, under Democrat leadership, spied on political opponents? Where were they when parents protesting at school boards ended up on watchlists? Oh, right—busy cheering on the surveillance state. But when Ilhan Omar faces scrutiny for her connections and behavior, Democrats become instant legal scholars. The hypocrisy is louder than a cheese curd in Wisconsin.
Let’s call this out for what it is: Democrats don’t love the Constitution. They love using it when it’s convenient. If you’re a conservative, don’t expect the establishment left to care about your rights—unless you’re a radical progressive with the right set of “woke” values. Their outrage is all theater, designed to shield their allies from any real accountability.
Well, conservatives see right through it. Americans are sick of liberal double standards. Either the Constitution matters all the time, or it’s just another tool for cynical power grabs.
