Georgia is finally putting its foot down against Big Tech’s nonsense, and for once, a federal court actually has its head screwed on straight. Georgia passed a law that makes social media companies verify users’ identities, but—shocking no one—Facebook and their Silicon Valley buddies ran crying to the courts, desperate to keep their liberal playground free from any real accountability or safety measures. Guess what? They lost.
Governor Brian Kemp stood up for regular folks this year, signing this common-sense law designed to clean up the dumpster fire that social media has become. But NetChoice, the group that protects the interests of globalist tech giants like Facebook and Instagram, couldn’t stand the thought of losing control. They wanted to stop the law, plain and simple, hoping to keep the status quo where fake accounts and foreign bots run wild. Liberals and their tech overlords keep preaching about “safety” but they panic when a red state tries to protect families from predators and online scams.
The outrage from the left is laughable. These people claim to care about “disinformation” and “hate,” yet when there’s an actual solution on the table—like verifying that real people are actually behind the profiles—they shout about censorship and whine about “freedom.” Sorry, but freedom doesn’t mean letting anonymous trolls, criminals, and woke activists spread chaos unchecked. Georgia saw the mess California and New York made out of Big Tech, and decided to actually lead by example.
Let’s tell the truth: the only reason the left hates this law is because it takes away their favorite tool. They love letting shadowy accounts stir up trouble, interfere with elections, and push anti-American garbage with no consequences. They couldn’t care less about the safety of your kids, your privacy, or the actual rule of law. They care about control—period.
So, while NetChoice and its army of woke lawyers lick their wounds, Georgia proves that conservatives can—and should—fight back against the out-of-touch swamp in Silicon Valley. Finally, someone’s showing the rest of America that you don’t have to bow to the globalist tech cartel. Isn’t it about time more states put the brakes on liberal insanity online?
