Leftist Professor Wants to Replace Student Writing with AI and Conservatives Are the Last Line of Defense

They’re coming for writing now. The latest left-wing professor—this one chairs a philosophy department, of all things—has decided that writing is basically useless. He claims it’s “not so important,” that making kids write essays is just some academic fad that cropped up in the 1970s. We’re supposed to trust the wisdom of a man who floats through the ivory towers of academia, who’s never punched a clock, never built anything with his hands, and now he wants us to think turning our brains off and letting artificial intelligence write for us is acceptable.

Liberals love this kind of thinking. First, they tell us skills don’t matter; now, they want to outsource our brains. The professor waves around Socrates to try to sound respectable, but let’s not kid ourselves—ancient philosophers wouldn’t exactly be fans of outsourcing everything important to some Silicon Valley algorithm. The Greeks shaped Western civilization; these modern leftists are doing their best to destroy it, one lazy shortcut at a time.

Technology is a tool, not a replacement for discipline. Using a hand saw doesn’t mean you forget how to cut wood. Using a calculator doesn’t erase math from your head. But the left keeps pushing “shortcuts” that rot our abilities. They want kids to forget how to write and think. Why? Because it makes them easier to control. Of course, the professor insists students shouldn’t outright copy-paste from AI bots—but he bends over backward to let them rely on it anyway. It’s as if doing just enough to keep up appearances matters more than real learning.

What’s really going on is a backdoor for widespread academic dishonesty. All the talk about “scaffolding” and “jigs” is just academic babble for “let the machine do your homework.” And as usual, it’s conservatives who are left holding the line, demanding that American kids actually learn, actually think, actually create. The elites are preparing to flood the workforce with graduates who can barely string a sentence together without consulting ChatGPT. And when these same students get accused of cheating, the left will just say, “It’s normal, everyone does it!” Integrity goes out the window—just another value sacrificed on the altar of convenience.

This is the left’s dream: a nation of followers, not thinkers. If writing doesn’t matter, if thinking is outmoded, what’s next? Maybe soon they’ll tell us to outsource voting, patriotism, and common sense to the machines, too. Conservatives should be shouting from the rooftops—America didn’t become great by letting robots do our thinking. Will we sit back and watch as mindless automation becomes the new normal, or will we reclaim the hard work, discipline, and honesty that made this country exceptional?
