North Carolina is making headlines for all the wrong reasons, and at the center of it is Roy Cooper. He’s the liberal Senate candidate who has just proven, yet again, what Democrats think about justice and safety. Instead of standing with families and crime victims, Cooper decided to spare the life of a brutal criminal—a man who didn’t just steal, but broke into a 72-year-old woman’s home, robbed her, raped her, and murdered her in cold blood.
What does Cooper do with a case this horrific? He takes the killer off death row. That’s right—the same Democrats who talk a big game about caring for the vulnerable have zero problem giving second chances to the absolute worst of humanity. How can anyone call this justice? This is a slap in the face to every law-abiding citizen and the grieving family left to mourn a loved one snatched away by evil.
Liberals like Cooper tell us they want to make America safer. But time after time, they side with criminals instead of victims. This isn’t just incompetence—it’s dangerous, and it sends a loud message to criminals everywhere: don’t worry, the Democrats have your back. The same soft-on-crime policies destroying big cities are now poisoning North Carolina, one courtroom at a time.
If our leaders won’t punish the worst crimes imaginable, what’s left of our values or our safety? Elderly Americans are abandoned, their lives and dignity tossed aside for the sake of woke politics. The radical left keeps calling for open borders, reduced sentences, and early releases, all while innocent Americans pay the price.
There’s a simple question everyone should be asking as November approaches: Should we trust politicians like Roy Cooper—men more concerned about the rights of monsters than the security of the people? Or is it finally time to demand real justice and real leadership?
