Conservative leaders have tried warning the American people for years: the enemies of freedom are teaming up—and they’re targeting us. Secretary of State Marco Rubio isn’t sitting on the sidelines. He’s taking real action against a Cuban financial institution that’s been caught helping funnel money into the hands of Iran’s brutal, terror-fueled regime.
Anyone paying attention can see there’s an evil alliance growing in the dark—communists and Islamist extremists cozying up together. It’s the “red-green” alliance, and it’s dead set on undermining Western values. Cuba’s dictatorship, always desperate for cash and clout, is now propping up an Iranian regime responsible for horrors against its own people and endless plots against America and our allies. Yet what do we hear from woke liberals and the globalist elite? Usually, nothing but finger-wagging at conservatives who sound the alarm or hand-wringing about “diplomacy” and “dialogue.” They’re either asleep at the wheel or cheering from the sidelines.
Actions like Rubio’s are what real leadership looks like. Instead of giving Cuba or Iran blank checks—like Obama’s disastrous Iran deal or Biden’s endless attempts at appeasement—Rubio is actually drawing a hard line. He is showing these enemies that America won’t just roll over and play dead while they plot against us. But let’s be honest, the liberal establishment will probably find a way to cry foul, even as American security stands on the line.
If only the left cared half as much about the threat from Iran and Cuba as they do about pronouns or peddling climate panic. Instead, they treat these regimes like misunderstood playground bullies who just need a hug and a seat at the United Nations. Meanwhile, Cuban communists and Iranian tyrants laugh behind closed doors, raking in cash and spreading chaos thanks to their soft-on-tyranny enablers in Washington and Brussels.
It takes guts to call out the global “axis of evil” for what it is—not just a relic from history, but a living, breathing threat right now. American strength and resolve are the only things these regimes respect. So here’s a question for all those Ivy League surrender-monkeys in D.C.: When will you get a backbone and do what needs to be done, or will you just keep waving white flags while the enemies of freedom sharpen their knives?
