California politicians love to brag about their so-called “progressive” values, but they can’t even keep their voter rolls clean. Now, the Trump Justice Department is finally dragging California into court, and not a moment too soon. Word is out that foreign nationals may be registered to vote in our elections. For years, conservatives have raised the alarm, only to be smeared as conspiracy theorists. Turns out, we were right all along.
Rep. James Gallagher is one of the few voices of sanity left in California’s State Capitol. He’s not standing for this sham. He knows exactly what’s at stake: the left’s open-door policies are letting people who shouldn’t be voting decide our leaders and laws. What good is an election if the ballot box is stuffed? This is how you destroy a republic from within—by letting foreign interests dilute the voices of real Americans.
Of course, the Democrat machine in Sacramento wants nothing to do with solving the crisis. They refuse to implement basic safeguards like voter ID. Why? Because the left thrives on chaos and confusion. The more loopholes and errors in the system, the easier it is for illegitimate votes to slip by. Apparently, California liberals are more concerned about protecting the feelings of illegal immigrants than defending America’s most basic rights.
The real question is, who are they working for? Clearly, it’s not the American people. It looks more like they’re working for globalist interest groups who don’t care one bit about national sovereignty. The same crowd that wants open borders, cheap labor, and a watered-down electorate. Is it any wonder voter trust is at an all-time low?
Voter photo ID is common sense—so common, in fact, that most civilized countries already require it. There’s a November initiative coming to the ballot box, backed by patriots who are fed up with Democrat incompetence. If California’s leaders cared half as much about legal voters as they do about illegal aliens, we wouldn’t be in this embarrassing mess. Maybe it’s time Californians ask themselves whose side their government is really on.
