Once again, radical New York Democrats are putting criminals before citizens. This time, they’re targeting the very people who help keep our communities safe—Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. A group of left-wing politicians, led by one Mamdani, are actually trying to bully private parking lot owners in New York City into banning ICE from their property. Think about that. Private business owners are being pressured by politicians to block law enforcement from doing their jobs.
Liberals in New York claim they’re doing this to protect immigrants, ignoring the glaring difference between law-abiding legal immigrants and those breaking our country’s laws. They love to play with numbers, boasting that 3.1 million New Yorkers were born outside the U.S., as if that somehow means ICE should stand down. Do they forget that a huge share of those millions followed the law to become Americans? What about their safety? Or is that too inconvenient for political grandstanding?
The hypocrisy here is staggering. The same progressives who scream about “gun violence” and cry for more restrictions on legal gun owners now demand that police be banned from identifying dangerous criminals. They want to tie ICE’s hands behind their backs while criminals walk free in our neighborhoods. It’s a classic play from the left—champion criminals, undermine law enforcement, and pretend it’s all about compassion.
Let’s not kid ourselves. This isn’t about safety or justice. It’s about appeasing the extreme wing of the Democrat party and inviting open borders, chaos, and lawlessness into American cities. These globalist politicians don’t care how many American jobs are lost, or how many crimes are committed by those here illegally. For them, protecting Americans comes second to their woke, anti-American agenda.
Just when you think Albany’s Democrats can’t sink any lower, they find a new way to punish law-abiding citizens and reward those who break the law. Will New Yorkers wake up before their entire city turns into a lawless “sanctuary” for criminals? Or has common sense already left the Big Apple for good?
