Democrats want to shut down your internet so climate activists can run America into the ground

Democrats are up in arms yet again—this time over data centers and the power plants that keep our digital world running. They’ve got their sights set on the EPA, whining about so-called “exemptions” given to power plants supplying these tech giants. As always, they claim to care about pollution, but if Democrats had their way, America would be in the dark—literally.

Let’s be honest. The left loves to cry about “the environment” whenever it suits them, but when it’s time to actually build the infrastructure that keeps our country competitive, suddenly there are a million reasons why we just can’t. What they really want is control—more regulations, more red tape, and more government sticking its nose where it doesn’t belong. Meanwhile, we’re in a global race for technology leadership, and the left seems happy to watch America lose—so long as they can pat themselves on the back for being “green.”

Thank goodness President Trump saw through this nonsense last year. He signed an executive order to speed up the building of new data centers—on public land, no less! That means faster projects, more broadband for the people, and less hand-wringing from radicals in Washington. And guess what? He made sure taxpayer funds could actually support these projects if they meet the needs of the country. That’s what real leadership looks like: cutting through the bureaucracy and putting America first.

Democrats are more worried about appeasing global elites and climate fanatics than ensuring Americans have reliable internet and modern technology. While they nitpick over EPA decisions, the rest of the world keeps building. China isn’t stopping to host town halls about the “carbon footprint” of their server farms—they’re simply getting the job done. Why can’t our so-called leaders do the same?

If Americans don’t wake up, the left will push us right back to the Stone Age—with rolling blackouts, energy shortages, and a digital future controlled by anyone but us. Do we really want Washington bureaucrats—and their eco-obsessed friends—telling us how much power we can use? Or do we want real progress, real innovation, and a country that puts our needs before the demands of some globalist climate cult?
