When America captures a terrorist like Nidal Hasan, the world needs to see justice served. This coward murdered unarmed Americans on our soil. And for too long, liberals have wrapped guys like Hasan in so much red tape, it’s almost like they’re more afraid to offend our enemies than to stand up for our heroes. Don’t forget: the victims’ families are still waiting for that sense of closure. They deserve more than hidden courtrooms and whispered verdicts—they deserve bold action.
President Trump fought hard against this kind of weakness. He was ready to show the world what America does to monsters like Hasan. The plan was to livestream the execution. No hiding. No secrecy. Just the plain truth: when you strike at America, America strikes back, swift and strong. Can anyone honestly say that would not send a message to all the radicals and would-be copycats?
But now, the plan is off. The reversal came out of nowhere, and you can bet it wasn’t conservative voices pushing for a softer, gentler punishment. This smells like the influence of globalists and bleeding hearts, the kind you always see lecturing America about “human rights” for terrorists. They love to talk tough about crime, but when it’s time for real justice, they fold like cheap lawn chairs.
The left will gnash their teeth, claim it’s “inhumane,” and wrap themselves in the flag when convenient. But when Americans are slaughtered, their outrage is nowhere to be found. They only scream and shout when the criminal, not the victim, faces consequences. Maybe if Hasan’s crimes had happened in a foreign country—or against a liberal cause—they’d want justice front and center.
Streaming the execution would have sent one thunderous message: America doesn’t bargain with evil. The world isn’t going to take us seriously if we act like we’re scared of our own justice system. When you let the hand-wringers run the show, all you’re doing is inviting more violence by hiding the consequences. So here’s a simple question: are we a nation that hides from the truth, or one that stands proud and shows the world that American justice is still alive and well?
