Vladimir Putin just called an emergency meeting in Moscow, dragging top Russian security and banking officials into the room, all because of so-called “external aggression” in cyberspace. The world should be paying attention, but our clueless liberal media keeps looking the other way. While the left is busy waving rainbow flags and lecturing us about pronouns, world leaders are treating cyberattacks like acts of war.
Let’s not kid ourselves. Cybersecurity isn’t just a Russian problem, and it’s certainly not some far-off threat. Russia’s panic meeting shows how serious real leaders take digital warfare. Meanwhile, Democrats in Washington would rather censor Americans than defend the border—or lock down our own digital infrastructure against foreign threats. While Putin scrambles his top people on short notice, our own administration is still hiring diversity coordinators.
There’s a lesson here. When globalist policies put American safety on the back burner, bad actors see an open invitation. Russia isn’t the only country beefing up cybersecurity. China is hacking us for breakfast. Iran is always snooping. But liberals want you to believe the real danger comes from “misinformation.” They focus on silencing conservative voices online instead of stopping real cyber aggression.
Of course, the left will blame Russian cyber activity on “foreign interference” every time they lose an election, but when it comes to actually protecting critical systems, they disappear. Don’t expect Biden and his technocrat cronies to suddenly get tough now. They’re too busy protecting their own talking points.
Maybe, just maybe, it’s time for Western leaders to wake up—and that includes our own so-called experts. Putin’s emergency meeting should be a wake-up call. But will the left ever stop obsessing over their pet causes long enough to care about real national security? Or do Americans have to suffer another blackout before the liberal elite pays attention?
