Mississippi voters deserve honesty, especially when it comes to protecting children. But Democrat Senate candidate Scott Colom can’t even give a straight answer about one of the most important issues facing our culture today—transgender surgeries on kids. Instead of firm leadership, Colom fumbles and dodges, acting like he doesn’t know where he stands when asked about so-called “gender-affirming” procedures for minors.
Let’s be clear: these aren’t harmless “treatments.” We’re talking about irreversible surgeries and drug regimens pushed on vulnerable children—sometimes behind their parents’ backs. Conservatives know what’s at stake. Our children’s future and well-being are on the line while elites in Washington and their liberal friends refuse to say no to dangerous experimentation.
And here comes Scott Colom, the darling of the Democrat establishment, flailing for words as soon as the cameras roll. Does he respect parents? Does he put Mississippi values first? Or is he just another pawn for radical activists and power-hungry globalists who want to destroy America’s foundations? If he can’t answer with conviction, he’s definitely not fit to lead.
Democrats always talk about “following the science,” but when science shows that these surgeries do more harm than good, they suddenly lose their voices. Colom’s painful struggle to take a stand speaks volumes about his priorities. He’s more worried about angering his party bosses than actually standing up for kids.
Mississippi is not California. Families here don’t want woke nonsense forced on their children. The left can’t even define what a woman is, and now they’re putting kids through the wringer for their twisted agenda. If Colom can’t even defend children from this madness, why should anyone trust him with real power? Is this really who Mississippians want representing them in the Senate?
