Texas Democrats are once again proving that their so-called commitment to minority voters is nothing but a campaign slogan. Just look at James Talarico, their Senate nominee, stumbling all over himself after turning his back on Black voters. Talarico barely limped across the primary finish line after knocking down Jasmine Crockett, the woman many in the Black community saw as their true champion. Did he even try to make up for it? Not a chance.
Instead, Talarico vanished on a 13-day disappearing act that made Biden’s beach days look productive. While people in Texas waited for answers, Talarico offered silence. The Black voters he desperately needs in November? He left them out in the cold. No outreach. No reassurance. Nothing but empty promises—if he could bother remembering their names, that is.
Democrats love crying about “representation” and “diversity,” but when it’s time to keep their word, they pull stunts like this. Talarico already started in a hole with Black voters, so what does he do? He digs deeper. This is the kind of Democrat “leadership” Texans can expect: arrogant, entitled, and too busy hiding when the going gets tough.
This is classic liberal incompetence in action. The left’s elite never suffer the consequences, but everyday Texans pay the price. And let’s not forget Talarico claims to stand for “the people.” Which people does he mean? Because it’s clearly not the Black voters whose support he trampled just to score political points.
Talarico’s disappearing act speaks louder than any press release. If this is how Democrats treat their own voters, just imagine what they’ll do to the rest of Texas. When liberals like Talarico care more about dodging hard questions than serving the people, it’s no wonder Texas is moving further to the right. How much more proof do voters need that the Democrat establishment doesn’t care about anyone but themselves?
