But the facts speak for themselves. In suburban Chicago, a 19-year-old who identifies as transgender—and is actively receiving hormone injections—was just arrested for plotting a horrific mass shooting at a Hindu temple. If not for a brave coworker tipping off authorities, this could have turned into another blood-soaked headline, another excuse for the media to push gun control and ignore the real issue festering in our society.
Let’s be crystal clear: the threat wasn’t some scary conservative or anyone fighting to protect tradition and family values. It was yet another case of an unstable, confused individual who had bought wholesale into the left’s new gender dogma. The woke ideologues in schools, universities, and Hollywood keep insisting that if we just bow down to every new letter in the ever-expanding LGBTQ acronym, all our problems will magically vanish. But this incident blows that entire narrative out of the water.
Liberals love to call anyone who questions transgender ideology a bigot. They try to shut down serious discussion and silence parents who want to protect their kids. But the more the left pushes these radical ideas, the more chaos and instability we get. When the warning signs are ignored and troubled young people are put on powerful drugs instead of getting real help, no one should be shocked when things spiral out of control. The left doesn’t want to talk about the growing list of violent incidents involving people caught up in their experimental social engineering.
It’s no accident that this happened in Illinois—a state run by Democrats and crippled by their anti-police policies. Their answer to every societal breakdown is to point the finger at law-abiding gun owners, all while coddling criminals and pushing a toxic cocktail of identity politics and victimhood. Meanwhile, globalist elites and their media lapdogs distract us with their fake outrage, never daring to connect the dots when it comes to who is really driving the violence.
How many more innocent lives need to be put at risk before the left finally admits their “progressive” experiment is failing? How many more close calls like this do Americans have to endure while our leaders look the other way? Maybe it’s time for our country to start asking tough questions about what values we really want to stand for. Because if we keep letting the left set the agenda, the chaos will only get worse.
