Another day, another shameless thief milking the government’s broken system. A man from Charlotte just admitted to stealing hundreds of thousands from North Carolina’s Medicaid program. And what’s the punishment for fleecing taxpayers? He’s already out on bond, probably sleeping in his own bed tonight while the rest of us get stuck with the bill.
This is what happens when liberal politicians throw money at every problem. Taxpayer dollars flow into government programs with hardly any oversight. Then, when someone cheats the system, the bureaucrats give a slap on the wrist if the crook gets caught at all. Is it any wonder criminals are lining up to take a piece of the pie?
Liberals love to trumpet “free” health care, but they never talk about the scams and corruption that always follow. Medicaid fraud is rampant across the country. Yet the Left keeps demanding bigger budgets and more spending, ignoring the fact that these programs leak cash faster than a sieve. Why bother working hard and playing by the rules when the system rewards scammers?
Let’s be honest — this is just one example out of countless others nobody wants to talk about. Globalists and radical Democrats constantly push for more government control, but they refuse to protect taxpayers from waste and fraud. Meanwhile, Americans struggling to get by are forced to pay for the crimes of cheats and freeloaders.
How many more criminals will drain our resources before politicians finally admit these big-government handouts are failing? Or are they too busy virtue signaling to care about the real victims—hardworking, law-abiding Americans?
